Hello Guys, I am working on a project that is going to be launched on KickStarter soon. I have 1 question I am trying to figure out. As pictured is my product, each axis has a shaft with 2 bearings to allow rotation (like a skate wheel). I am trying to reduce the width of each gearbox for our final prototype. I have done a lot of trial and error trying to use 1 bearing, but this allows to much "play" in the shaft. I have messed with higher tolerance bearings, but cant seem to get it perfect. Any ideas of other ways to allow smooth rotation? Or a type of bearing that would reduce play/wiggle room of the shaft? I can definitely figure this out, but a little stuck at the moment, i know theres an easy resolution. Any help is very much appreciated!! [link] [comments] |
