Looking to transfer this fall to either Cal Poly Pomona or Cal State Los Angeles for Mech Eng. One differentiating factor is that CSLA offers a blended program that will get me my BS and my MS in 3 years, where Cal Poly Pomona (the better engineering program) does't. Is it worth the extra year of grad school expenses to graduate from Cal Poly vs CSLA? The plan is to go into research once I graduate, with an eye on a doctorate (Eng.D.).
