Is it possible to find a job in Ireland for a Mechanical Engineering (international) graduate?

Hello,

I will be an international student (non-EU) and I will learn ME in Mechanical Engineering in TUD (DIT) this year. To be honest, I want to find a Mechanical Engineering job in Ireland in the future, but many people online told me that it is very, very difficult to find a job for a Mechanical Engineering graduate in Ireland, especially for a non-EU student.

I have been working for 4 years, and maybe I have about 2.5 years related work experience. For example,in the past, I used CAD to direct others to build a power station, and calculated strains of pipes and beams, and calculated the parameters of water ( I'm not sure if it is related work experience or not) .

And I have 3 questions:

  1. Is it possible for me to find a Mechanical Engineering job in Ireland? If it is possible, how difficult?

  2. If it is possible to find a job, what should I do during my study to increase my employment probability in the future in Ireland?

  3. Will the "2.5 years work experience" mentioned above be useful for me to find a job in the future?

Many thanks
