question about career in Mechanical Engineering

Hi everyone, I'll get to the point right away

I'm a ME soon to graduate, I also have a minor in chemistry because I was a chemistry major before, but after looking at the job market for chemists I decided to get into something that would pay better, so here I am almost graduating with a ME degree.

I have to be honest, I don't really enjoy Mechanical Engineering as much as I thought I would, don't get me wrong there is super interesting and amazing things in ME, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do for the rest of my life. So, I'm wondering if there is anything that I can do with chemistry and transmit this knowledge to ME.

For example, I'm very interested in perovskite materials and organic solar cell materials. It is the only thing I can think that might involve a little bit of chemistry, but I can't what else I can do with chemistry in ME.

Any advice I will appreciate a lot

thanks in advance
