Recently Graduated M.E here, what can I do to keep myself busy while I find a job?

Hello,

I recently graduated with a B.S in M.E. and while the job search is tough I know something will pop up (hopefully). I just wanted to ask if there were any jobs/websites/resources, etc... that can keep me busy and help me learn new skills so that I may be of use to my potential new employer. For example, I downloaded a few apps and joined codeacademy.com to learn some programming. Bought an Arduino and started doing some basic circuitry. I've also started tutoring to keep my mind fresh and learn how to interact with new people. Just wanted to get your opinion on what to do in this situation, I know a lot of you guys are in the same position and I hope you find something too.

Thanks for reading.
