Hi all, I'm working at a manufacturing factory, we have some pick and place machines to mount small ic on pcb, that ic is very small 0.25* 0.25* 17 mm and has a glass surface that very easy to break. We are currently using nozzle from vendor but they are very expensive. Our boss want us to make our own to reduce cost. We have cnc milling mc, ew, edm... But we can't achieve working surface requirement (V shape groove with 90 degree and 0.36 wide) of the nozzle (Ra 0.2) and look very smooth like a mirror. Does anyone who has experience on making small part with high requirement like that? We tried milling, edm and polishing but the result is still bad.
