Zipline Design

Hello,

I'm designing a motorized zipline and performing stress and speed analysis in the shaft, gears, etc. The third gear from the source of torque is attached to a wheel which sits on a cable.

For a maximum velocity of 37 mph of the rider and system, can I call this the tangential velocity of the gear attached to the wheel? I then calculated the angular velocities of the gears in the system based on diameter and teeth specifications. I've just been stumped for awhile on how to figure out the maximum tangential force that acts on the gears. I need this to calculate the maximum torque that the motor needs to apply to achieve this velocity.

If needed, I can provide more information.

Thanks
