Hi all!
I am working for a company where we make test-equipment for membrane technology on laboratory scale. We often come across high-salinity feed liquids and corrosive feeds, where we need to adjust the choice of material in for example fittings.
Now I was wondering if there is a good overview for different metals (we mainly use SS316L, Monel, Duplex, Hastelloy) and seal equipment when it comes to different feeds (and temperatures). Maybe some (internationally) approved table or list?
I need this because I want to standardize our material picking and I want to make reasoned choices that I can correspondent with our customers. I also want to be able to give advice to the customers when they ask for the appliance of Hastelloy without them knowing that it might be an overkill. As of now we sometimes use Hastelloy, where even SS316L might have been good enough.
I hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks in advance!
