Covid-19

Uncommon opinion?

Online school isn’t easy and makes learning complex ideas and concepts harder.

I’m current a Mechanical Engineering Major at ISU. And online school turned my all A’s into B’s. While my grades are not final as I haven’t taken the final exam, this is extremely stressful. My B’s could turn back into A’s but that requires a good exam.

“Just cheat”

Cheating doesn’t equal passing.

It’s more than just passing. Me not understanding the material will have long lasting consequences on my future learning. If I don’t understand everything now I won’t be able to do well in future courses. I have never been an all A person, due to personal issues such as emotions and time management. I had my schedule and fixed what I struggled with and did well. And while I’m stilling putting effort in it’s not the same as it was before.

And has anyone else had a massive influx of graded assignments that should have been graded months ago? How am I supposed to know what I do and do not know if professors wait to grade it 5 hours before the final. I can’t learn if I don’t get feedback on my work.

Someone please tell me I’m not alone and anyone else want to cry over calculus?
