[HELP] I am looking for help in regards to a question in my textbook that has been driving me nuts, and because we cannot go to class, I've been having a difficult time contacting my professor. Any help is appreciated.

I am currently enrolled in a Blueprint reading class at a local community college where I live and since we've not been able to attend class, our school has been scrambling to get us all working online, just in time to take our finals.

I am using a textbook called "Interpreting Engineering Drawings, Eight Edition by Theodore Branoff". On page 201, question #1 has been driving me crazy. I am seeing if anyone also has the same textbook and could take a look at it and give me some idea of what those measurements would be or how to get them? Because we haven't been able to go into class, our very antiquated system at college was unable to get our classes available online so that we could have discussion boards and I know my teacher is an older gentleman who is a very old school engineer who, surprisingly, does not do well with computers. So, he had a lot of trouble helping us with our coursework.

I know the question that I'm inquiring about is very elementary and probably laughable to the lot of you, which I understand. But, I've just not been able to wrap my head around these blueprints and how to get these measurements. Without face to face guidance & teaching it's pretty tough for me to learn a subject like this. I would appreciate any help or advice. And if I am breaking any rules please let me know or delete the post. Thank you for your time.
