A question about pascals law

consider we have the classic container with 2 pistons, one with a small area and the other with a bigger area. Why is it that when I push down with a force F on the smaller piston, that pressure exterted will be exerted equally everywhere in that container? How can we visualize this in a microscopic level?

And another question that may be answered if you answer the first one but here we go anyway :

Why is the pressure the same in 2 different containers if one container, at the bottom of it, holds less weight of the water above it than another container which holds all the weight directly above it?

If you are unsure about anything im asking about, do not hesitate to ask for anymore clarification :D
