air pressure in container

We are in an ocean of water the pushes down the air molecules ontom of us with a pressure of 101300pascals due to the weight of the air, several kilmeters above us. If that air pressure is due to the weight of air then if we have in air in a container and then seal the container, shouldnt the air pressure in that container be very low since it has been cut off by the rest of the weight of air above it and therefore it is its own system of weight which is considerably lower than the weight of the atmosphere that is pushing us down?

If you need anymore clarification as to what im asking for,do not hesitate to ask :D
