Hi all,
I have a temporary setup here where a shaft (with splines) enters the gearbox from one end and the other end of the shaft is fixed through a flange bearing on an 8mm plate welded onto a frame. Now the alignment of the shaft through the bearing and gearbox is difficult to get right. Any better recommendations to fit this in such a way that it's easy to dismount the shaft in order to repair/modify things? The sprocket is mounted on the shaft.
I am thinking of having a coupling that will allow some play in the alignment, and the shaft into two parts.

Thanks
