I'm currently working on a remote controlled rope climbing "robot" but getting a bit stuck on choosing an appropriate motor. The total mass of it will be no more than 0.6kg and it would be preferable to reach a vertical speed of 1.5m/s. The radius of the drive wheel (thats pushing/gripping the rope) is 0.012m. I was hoping to also have a worm drive in the gearing so the device wouldn't slip when motor isn't turning. I was thinking of using a 2s of 3s lipo battery for power so if there are any motors that you could suggest for this purpose that would be a great help! Thanks in advance
