Hey ME graduates. Do you all have jobs in this field or as a product of this degree? I'm beginning to doubt whether I'll ever get a job in my field and considering dropping out and going into a fabrication or welding shop.

Im a Junior at Penn State and I'm just losing drive. I love the field and I love the classwork but as I see debt pile up I worry as to whether it'll be worth it. It's not like I'm doing bad either, I have a 3.8 gpa and a bit of experience as a factory mechanic. I just want to see how many of you guys are happy you graduated and have a job. Personally I've never known an unemployed engineer major while I have seen unemployed business and other majors. Give me advice.
