Difficulty Engineering Ethics College Course?

I work full-time and am a returning college student working on my BSME.

I'm taking thermodynamics in the fall (which is a hard class) and was thinking about taking taking my engineering ethics class requirement as well to give me 6 hours for the semester (part-time status for financial aide).

But I only want to take the engineering ethics class if it's easy as thermodynamics will take up the vast majority of time?

In general, did you find the course to be a cake walk. I've taken 100s of hours of this type of training in my life. Is it mostly common sense stuff?

thank you
