Hello, does anyone have any data on how often a motor starts/stops versus its useful life? My intuition says that the more often a motor starts/stops, the shorter its life will be, but I can't find any data on it. There's lots of research on heat and loading versus useful life, but I can't find anything on start/stop frequency... Thanks!
