I was wondering what changes would be required for stamping nickel alloys in terms of die design.
It is my understanding that the hardness of the material has changed so a similar change in hardness of the die would be required (I may be wrong on this). Also, the tolerances are to be changed according to the wear resistance.
It'd be helpful if anyone guides me through it as I have just passed out of college with an undergrad degree in mechanical engineering and started working a few days ago but my college didn't teach anything related to design for sheet metal forming.
