I am trying to brush up on my rotary system dynamic design.
I want to be able to take known physical characteristics (inertia of shafts, gears, other rotary elements, etc) and motor characteristics (torque constant, back emf, voltage, etc) to determine if requirements (output torque, speed, etc) are being met. I would also like to eventually get the point of knowing detailed performance characteristics such as the maximum bandwidth and oscillation frequency of such a system.
Can anyone recommend a good book or online resource for this?
