I will be starting college soon as a mechanical engineer but I can’t help but wonder if the market is saturated and I won’t be able to find a job. What I mean by this is that everywhere I go people always say be an engineer, doctor, lawyer, etc. It may just be because of the people I’m surrounded by, but everyone seems to be an engineer or plans on being one! I just don’t want to be another statistic and spent countless hours (and money) to get a degree that doesn’t get me a decent job like I’ve always wanted. Thanks for answers.
