Hi there! I'm a female Mechanical Engineering student and need to interview a MechE professional. It's short and a phone call/Skype is preferred. A female professional would also be great, but also not required.
Here are the required questions for my assignment, but I may have more. :)
**If you'd like to DM me your answers and not do an audio/video interview, that's okay, too. I would like to interview at least one female professional.
1.What percentage of your typical day is spent collaborating with others (meetings, discussion, brainstorming)?
2.What forms of communication (like email, phone, presentations) do you use? What percent of your time is spent on professional communications?
3.What percent of the problems that you tackle are “messy” (use our definition: no precedent for a solution, and/or poorly constrained, and/or no one right solution, and/or conflicting user needs)?
4.If you could give a student one piece of advice regarding solving technical problems after college, what would it be?
