I have an expansion joint with 304SS bellows and carbon steel lap joint flanges. The connected piping material is 304SS, fluid is compressed air (not dry), bolt material is SS, located in a mechanical room.
Would I need a flange bolt isolation kit in this scenario since the two flanges are different materials? I don't believe galvanic corrosion is a concern since it's outside of the fluid stream and in a dry environment.
