Swept Volume & Volumetric Efficiency Calculation

Hi All, Sorry if the formatting of this post is terrible, I’m writing it on my phone.

I’m currently completing an assignment on Pumps and Compressors and have a question which I’m unable to find a formula to calculate. The question is asking us to calculate the swept volume and volumetric efficiency for a reciprocating compressor which is compressing the gas from 1 bar - 6 bar. The parameters given are the FAD in dm^3/sec, clearance ratio, and crankshaft rotational speed. Also given is the following statement which I’m finding hard to understand: ‘The expansion part of the cycle flows the law pV^1.2 = C’. I’m presuming pV is pressure x Volume?
