Tablet for engineering work

I work as a mechanical design engineer for high speed manufacturing equipment. I was thinking that a tablet would be useful for a lot of my day to day work including: - checking and annotating drawings - slow motion video for debugging equipment (I currently use my phone but the bigger screen would be easier to see what is going on) - sketching and annotating concepts - design reviews and providing feedback to other designs - keeping records of early hand calcs for designs

I would still use a computer for everything else including: drafting, modelling, calculations e.c.t.

Does anyone work in a similar role and has moved from paper to a tablet for certain tasks? Do you think there is a benefit in doing so? What has been your experience of using the tablet for your work?
