Hi, I'm Leon, i am a student doing my capstone project for my product design course! While i study product design i am not very well versed in the different applications and limitations of the mechanical engineering side of things, so i am here to ask for help, or suggestions on to what i should do. Ok, so basically my product is an 'iot' linked container that has a pressure/proximity/idk kind of sensor below that can give a rough estimate of the perimeter size and weight of the object on top of it. I thought of it like how a mechanical keyboard can show what specific keys are pressed at the same time, roughly showing the size of the item on top of it. This measurement of size can then be sent to your phone to check the availability of space in your cabinet and such. Heres an example of what i mean. But the thing is, i can't find any pictures or videos of sensors or items working in the way i want them too, even though i think the technology is relatively old. I really need your help and my project is due in about a months time hahahahaha. Cheers, Leon [link] [comments] |
