Those of you in top companies/government like Lockheed, NASA, Tesla, Ford, etc, is your work interesting?

Trying to get a sense of how fulfilling the work is at top mechanical companies. How much mechanical engineering do you actually do at your job, or is it mostly paper pushing and other non-engineering work?
