Do you need to choose Chemistry or Further math for London A/L

Good Day

I know for a fact that physics and maths is necessary for mechanical engineering.

However is chemistry and (or) further math a must to be chosen in London A/L, to be chosen in a good university? I’m planning to do 3 subjects. Physics,maths, (not decided)

I did chemistry for IGCSE (o/l) and disliked it. And I don’t like further maths because i didn’t do it for IGCSE and it’s hard.

Anyone able to answer my question?
