How does refrigerant in refrigerator moves against gravity from compressor which is in bottom to condenser which is at height?

I was asked this question and i immediately answered "pressure difference". To which he told me that i was wrong. I asked what the right answer is, so he said "capillary action" and walked away. I cannot understand what he means by that. I am planning to ask him the next time we meet. But how does capillary action does this in refrigerator.
