This may be digging too far down in the weeds, but I'm currently updating my company's internal CAD Standards document (I work for a Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering firm), and I'm running into a bit of an issue. We currently have a list of standard drawing reduction scales that we use for all our metric drawings (taken from ISO 5455:1979). However we have recently been doing some more work with US-based clients necessitating the use of Imperial scales and I'm wondering if anyone is aware of an accepted standards organization (ASME, ASTM, etc) that has the equivalent document describing commonly used scales?
Ideally I would prefer to reference an accepted document for our company standards before "creating" my own, so if anyone is aware of such documents it would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind if they're behind a paywall as the company will happily purchase it if needed. Thanks in advance!
