can B.S in computer science get a M.E in mechanical engineering?

i love mechanical engineering but i got accepted in computer science.

i am thinking of transferring to B.E mechanical engineering but my friend told me i can get B.S in C.S and then an M.E in Mechanical.

is it true?

which is better?

B.E in mechanical then M.S in C.S or B.S in C.S the M.E in mechanical.

Note: i am taking as free elective ( MEE engineering graphics and Statics)

And what are the best Universities that offer M.E in mechanical (if all the above are correct)?
