Curious if anything has changed in the past couple years. I have a younger engineer on my team with less mechanism/mechanical design experience and the parts he makes are filled with external references to other parts in his assembly.
Which leads to the assemblies and parts getting whacked out sometimes. Is this common practice now? My bosses always used to get on my to hard dimension and fully define everything.
