Degree from non-ABET school

I am about to start an online ME program at ECPI next week. All through the onboarding process they assured me that the school is accredited and the whole spiel on how employers love their graduates and seek them out. Now I’m looking into it and I found that though they are accredited, it’s by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC). From what I could online, any degree from a non-ABET accredited school is basically worthless and I will never find a job or be able to take the FE/PE exams

Will it completely destroy my future to stay at this school? Should I jump ship before classes start? Any insight would be greatly appreciated
