Chances of landing a mechanical designer job?

I am about to finish my associates degree in mechanical engineering and I would like to know what my odds are at getting a designer job.

To give you some context, For the past year and a half, I have been working full time as a quality control inspector for a midsize aerospace parts manufacturer. We specialize in aerospace so we do engine parts aswell as structural.

Before that, I worked as a machinist for a year

While working full time, I have also been attending college to finish my associates degree.

Will this experience look good for potential employers?

I am 24 years old and I am hoping for some guidance from more experienced folks.

Thanks guys!
