After reading several reddit posts telling undergrads who are in biomedical engineering to switch to mechanical for better job prospects, here I am. However, I still want to work for medical devices. Are there any mechanical engineers here who work with medical devices? Where and what company do you work for? How did you manage internships in college? Is there anyone who wanted to major in biomedical engineering, but switched to mechanical and enjoyed it?
