Mechanical Engineering student in need of career tips

Hi, I currently have 2 years left of studying mechanical engineering before graduating and searching for a job.

I was just wondering what sort of jobs people here got upon graduation, what their job search strategy was, and how easy or difficult it was to land that first job? (also whether they had to move far/commute far). Thanks!
